Delicious Cold Green Tea Drinks Recipes

Green tea is one of the most favorite and most versatile drinks today especially for health freaks and weight watchers. As the world is getting more aware of the benefits of different infusions of green tea, we have come up with different concoctions to get some healthy and delicious green tea drinks recipes.

Iced Green Tea

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp green tea
  • 1 tbsp rose petals
  • 1 tbsp coriander seeds
  • 4 cups water

Instructions

  • Add the rose petals, coriander seeds, green tea in a pitcher. Add ½ cup water and let the ingredients simmer. 
  • Add the remaining water and let the tea boil for 5 minutes.
  • Switch of the flame and let cool.
  • Serve chilled with ice.

Iced Green Tea Mojitos

Ingredients

  • ½ glass ice cubes
  • Few fresh mint leaves
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • ½ cup green tea
  • 1 ounce light run
  • 1 tbsp granulated white sugar
  • Handful of fresh raspberries

Instructions

  • Pour ice cubes till half in a tall glass. Add in the mint leaves and stir well.
  • Muddle the leaves a bit to release the flavor.
  • Add in lime juice, sugar, rum and tea.
  • Mix everything properly.
  • Add fresh berries and serve chilled.

Strawberry Mango Green Ice Tea

Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh strawberries
  • ¾ cup diced mango cubes
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • 2/3 cup water
  • 2 quarts water
  • 6 green tea bags
  • 1 cup mango syrup
  • 1 cup strawberry syrup

Instructions

  • Take a saucepan and mix the water and sugar together. Add in the strawberries and the mango pieces.
  • Let the mixture boil and then simmer for some time.
  • Remove the pan from heat. Using a potato masher, mash the fruit and then sieve this mixture.
  • Discard the roughage and take the liquid. Let is cool.
  • Take another pan and bring water to a boil. Switch of the flame and add in the tea bags.
  • After seeping for 5 minutes, remove the bags and pour this green tea in a pitcher.
  • Let cool and then add the cooled syrup of strawberry and mango.
  • Serve chilled with ice.

Peach and Apple Green Iced Tea

Ingredients

  • 3 green tea bags
  • 4 cups cold water
  • 1 black tea bag
  • 1 apple, diced
  • 3 peaches, sliced
  • ½ tbsp ginger juice
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • Honey
  • Ice cubes

Instructions

  • Take a tall glass and add in lemon juice, honey, ginger juice and ice cubes.
  • In another pan, put water for boiling.
  • Once the water boils, switch off the gas and add the green tea bags and the black tea bag.
  • Let seep for 5 minutes
  • After some time, remove the bags and let this tea cool down.
  • Pour this green tea in the glass with the lemon and honey.
  • Take another pan and put little water to boil.
  • Add the apple and peach slices in the water.
  • Let simmer for some time and then let cool.
  • Blend this liquid and strain it.
  • The strained apple and peach syrup should be added to your prepared tall glass with green tea and ginger, lemon and honey.
  • Serve chilled.
